With over 20 years of experience serving minority and marginalized communities, I am dedicated to providing empathetic and effective treatment for those affected by trauma. My approach combines consistent weekly therapy with specialized techniques to support both brain and body healing.

  • ​Trauma-Informed Care: This foundational approach ensures that every aspect of therapy is sensitive to the impact of trauma. It focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore and process your experiences without feeling overwhelmed.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): EMDR is a powerful therapy for processing and integrating traumatic memories. By using guided eye movements, EMDR helps to reframe distressing experiences and reduce their emotional charge, leading to significant improvements in symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression.

  • IMTT (Integrative Multi-Sensory Trauma Therapy): IMTT builds on EMDR by incorporating additional sensory modalities to address complex trauma. This approach helps in processing and healing from traumatic experiences, enhancing emotional and physical well-being.
